K. A. Shook Design is a full service general practice architecture firm based in Kirksville, Missouri. Kenneth Shook, AIA founded the firm in 2005 in Fairborn, Ohio and moved the practice to Kirksville, Missouri in the fall of 2007. He has over 22 years of experience in the profession and is personally licensed as an architect in Missouri as well as having his national certification (NCARB). His experience with a variety of building types and with all aspects of the design and construction process provide value and benefit in creating your architectural goals.

Kenneth Shook was interviewed by KTVO, in his position as Chair of the Kirksville Historic Preservation Commission, on the downtown historic preservation efforts and the recent grant from the Missouri Department of Economic Development to conduct an historic resource survey.

9-21-09 Kirksville Updates Building Code
Effective November 1, 2009, The City of Kirksville will be using Building Codes based on the 2009 edition of the IBC and IRC from the International Code Council. Included in this update, starting in the year 2012, any new home will be required to have sprinklers.

PR Interval Properties, LLC is sponsoring an Open House at Art Deco Lofts to celebrate numerous new downtown Kirksville developments. The schematic design of several K. A.
